There are several things I am focused on this year:
- Spending quality time with my young family.
- Improving my skills for work.
- A new book project.
- Martial arts development.
- Increasing my personal leverage.
All of these take time and a certain amount of self-discipline.
Festina Lente is a Latin phrase I discovered in Ryan Holiday’s new book, “Discipline is Destiny.”
It translates to: make haste slowly.
This means taking action to move the ball forward, one small step at a time. Or, as Naval Ravikant has said, “impatient with action, patient with results.”
Cheers to a new year!
Festina Lente.
