February Recap (Optimism, Sardines, Kettlebells, and Spring!)

Newsletter I’m Enjoying

Need a little more positive news in your life? Me too.

The last few weeks I’ve been enjoying the “Weekly Dose of Optimism” newsletter.

You can find this week’s edition here: https://www.notboring.co/p/weekly-dose-of-optimism-133

Medical breakthroughs, new frontiers in physics, positive news in economics….it covers that and more! Also makes for great dinner table discussions.

Fitness & Health

Two things on this front:.

I did a fitness challenge called, “The Kettlebell Mile”. It was a uniquely difficult challenge of both strength and endurance. I’ll certainly try it again. Let me know if you do! (TLDR: carry a KB 20-30% of your bodyweight 1-mile as fast as you can)

If you’re ever in a pinch and didn’t get a chance to meal prep…(I’m convinced) there is no better bang-for-your-buck + no prep time needed than a can of sardines.

I’ve been short on time more than usual lately, so many of these got deleted.

Signs of Spring!

One of the first signs that spring is right around the corner in my yard is when the snowdrops bloom.

My favorite time of year. My basement project should be done by the end of the month, looking forward to sharing a before & after here…

Wishing you a wonderful March!
