Something I Read: The Comfort Crisis
One indicator of a great book is that it impacts your behavior.
The Comfort Crisis checks that box. Since reading this book I:
- Get outside more.
- See images below from my annual cold weather camping trip with Porter & Spen, and one image of a micro-adventure I did with my son…throwing rocks in a stream.
- Carry heavy things more (I bought this weight to carry in my backpack during stroller walks)
- Have reintroduced fasting….
- just to name a few.
The book is great. It weaves research on many topics related to health into the author’s back-country hunting trip in Alaska. Highly recommend.

Something Inspiring
Did you see Space X catch their Super Heavy rocket?
They caught a rocket the size of the statue of liberty!
I watched this video a dozen times. It gave me the same feeling I had when watching Olympians compete this summer: appreciation for our fellow man doing big things.

Something Fun: Wiffle Ball
My Uncle & his friends have put on a wiffle ball tournament for 33 years.
I love traditions like this. Here is a shot of my brother, father & I in between games.
